Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

This is my second post to date regarding IPF. On Oct. 2009 I started taking Acetylcysteine. On July 2010 my latest breathing test showed a very slight decrease in lung capacity. I was prerscribed Prednisone, 10MG, and also Advair Discus inhalation powder. I have noticed that I have more energy and my breathing is improved by about 10%. If this is one of or both of these meds I'm not sure, but it feels good to notice some breathing improvement. I believe your personal posts on IPF helpful to me, and I think it is important to share our IPF stories with each other. Thank you.
